Essential tips

  • Dear author, to clarify the process of reviewing the article in the editorial board meeting, introduce 2 referees (from other universities) along with full details (university name, university email, academic rank, specialization, and contact number) in the field of your article.
  • If your article has a financial sponsor or provider of the research credit or is derived from a research project, it is mandatory to mention its information in a paragraph entitled "Thanks and Gratitude". The place of this paragraph should be at the end of the article before the reference list.
  • To improve the quality of the writing of the Latin abstract of the articles, the authors must put the text of the abstract in the Grammarly system before submitting the article, and after fixing the errors, send the abstract to the journal.
  • Dear authors, please pay the fee for the review of the article after the review by the editorial board and change the status of the article. (According to the approval of the university, the initial cost is 150,000 Tomans and the publishing cost is 350,000 Tomans).
  • It is not possible to change the responsible author or to change the order, number, or specifications of the authors after submitting the article. Before sending the article, make the necessary coordination with the relevant organization in this regard.
  • In the journal system, the organizational affiliations section (the organization related to the authors), and the information of the authors should be entered exactly as follows:

Persian: educational department, faculty, university (educational institution), city, country.

English: Department, Faculty, University (Institution), City, Country.

  • All the articles sent to Isfahan University journals will be checked through Samim Noor similarity search software before entering the review process.

It should be noted that articles with more than 10% similarity with the opinion of the editor cannot be reviewed.

In case of non-compliance with the ethical principles of the journal and cases of scientific misconduct such as simultaneous submission to other journals or copying, depending on the case, it will be dealt with in the following three levels and methods:

  1. Notice to the responsible author of the article b) Deprivation of submitting the article to the journal for a specified period c) Notification to the corresponding organization of the responsible author of the article.

Guide for setting and writing an article

To avoid delays in reviewing and publishing on time, please pay attention to the following points:

  • Articles should not be published, presented, or sent in foreign or domestic magazines and seminars.
  • New Marketing Research Journal is dedicated to current and new topics and axes, so please refrain from sending articles with old and repetitive topics.
  • Articles received will not be returned.
  • The articles should have a suitable scientific level and should be compiled in a research and analytical way, and the rules of writing should be observed in them and a fluent manner.
  • The main and subheadings in the article should be coded in such a way that the main codes on the right and the sub-codes on the left are added (in the form of 1, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3,...) so that the code number 1 is the main title and the codes 1 and 2 and ... are the codes of the sub-titles (the method of coding the content is mentioned in the article structure section.)
  • The average length of the article is 7-20 pages.
  • The margins of the text of the article should be 3 cm from the top and bottom, 2.5 cm from the sides, and 1 cm between the lines.
  • Diagrams and figures should be numbered with the title of the figure, and in the order of placement in the text from 1 to the last, and their title must be placed below it; (Their source should be given in the lower left part).
  • The tables should be numbered according to the order of placement in the text from 1 to the last and the title of the tables should be written above them.
  • The article in Docx format should be typed on A4 paper with margins 3 cm from the top and bottom and 2.5 cm from the left and right. For Persian text, use Bzar font with font 13 and for English text, use Times New Roman font and font 12.
  • The article should be organized into two columns.

In addition to the Persian abstract, the submitted article must have an English abstract.

Authors are required to submit an extended abstract in English after initial acceptance.

Extended abstract structure

An extended abstract is a scientific article that is prepared to provide the study of the main article in a short period. In this regard, and to make it possible for non-Persian speaking audiences to read Persian articles, New Marketing Research Journal provides an extended abstract in English with the following structure for each Persian article, which is published along with each article.

Components of an extended abstract

  • Title
  • Writer(s)
  • Name and surname, organizational affiliation, e-mail, ORCID
  • Designation of the responsible author
  • Abstract
  • Introduction:

The introduction should include the scope, purpose, problem, importance, and limitations of the research and in other words, answer the question "What is the main problem of the present research?" Also, the background and literature of the research should be briefly discussed. Hypotheses or research questions should be clearly stated.

The number of words in the introduction section is a maximum of 250 words.

  •  Methodology

The research methodology should be explained in a clear, detailed manner and, if necessary, with references.

The number of words in the methodology section is a maximum of 250 words.

  •  Findings

In this section, the findings are summarized. In this section, the author can use tables, images, graphs, etc. to express the findings, it is suggested to summarize the data in tables and graphs as much as possible. These items should be designed using Word or Excel software and avoid saving in photo format. Also, the above items should be mentioned in the text of the extended abstract immediately after the citation. The allowed number of each is 2 items.

The maximum number of words in the research findings section is 250 words.

  • conclusion

The contents expressed in this section must be related to the problem and hypotheses or research questions presented in the introduction and based on the findings expressed in the research findings section.

The number of words in the discussion and conclusion section is a maximum of 250 words.

  • Acknowledgments

If necessary, the people and organizations that have cooperated in the research results should be appreciated.

  • Keyword

To describe the content of the article, at least 5 keywords should be declared in this section.

All the text of the article should be sent coherently and in one file. (Avoid sending figures and diagrams separately.)

The structure of the article

Persian abstract

The abstract of the article should clearly state the topic and the results of the research work done. In the abstract, only the main topic of the article should be paid attention to, and the details of the work, figures, tables, formulas, and references should be avoided. Write the keywords in the order of the article's dependence on them; that is, the more relevant words should be written first. If an abbreviation is used in the abstract or keywords, its full form should be given inside a pair of parentheses.

  • Introduction

The introduction includes the problem plan, importance and necessity, goals, records, questions, and hypotheses, research method and its steps (research method, statistical population, sampling method, sample size and its determination method, data collection tools and their validation), the introduction of variables and indicators, scope and territory of the research.

  • Concepts, perspectives, and theoretical foundations

Definitions and concepts, views and theoretical foundations, and...

  • Application of methods, techniques, discussion, review, and analysis of hypotheses and questions using quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Summarizing and concluding in line with the goals, questions, and hypotheses and the results of using techniques and tests.
  • Proposals and strategies to solve problems and take advantage of capabilities by setting temporal and spatial priorities and future research.

The final sources should be arranged in APA style: (first the Persian sources, then the Latin sources, and then the English sources).

In alphabetical order including:

- Authored book: surname, name (author), (year), book name, publisher, publication date, place of publication

- Translated book: surname, name (author), (year), name of the book, name and surname of the translator, publisher, date of publication, place of publication

- Articles: surname, first name, (year), article name, journal name, serial number, place of publication

- Internet resources :(www.google.com/)

- Theses: last name, author's name, (year), thesis title, last name and supervisor's name, university and department

- Latin sources are the same as the layout and order of the aforementioned sources.

It is obvious that in Persian texts, referencing inside the text is in Persian and English subtitles.
